Asia’s NTRIP providers range from dense, state-run national networks in more developed markets to sparse or emerging coverage elsewhere.

Japan’s GEONET (operated by GSI) is one of the most extensive national GNSS networks in the world, while other countries in the region rely more heavily on commercial VRS providers or private surveying-company networks with narrower coverage areas. Because national policy, licensing, and registration processes vary a lot country to country here: some networks require local business registration or government sign-off to access. It’s worth budgeting extra lead time for account setup compared to Europe or North America.
